Summer Berry Granola Parfait

During the summer, we like to avoid using the oven at all costs at home, because it essentially works as a heater, raising the temperature of our home to be 5-10 degrees warmer. No one wants that when it’s already 90 degrees out!

What’s our solve? Coming up with delicious summertime desserts and treats that dodge turning on an oven. We’re going to share two fun recipes today that use Lilac Pâtisserie gluten free granola, fresh summer berries, whole milk greek yogurt, chia seed pudding, and honey. Follow the easy steps below to make this bright summer berry granola parfait:

 

Granola Parfait using Whole Milk Greek Yogurt:

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1/4 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup blackberries
  • 1 cup whole milk greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Handful of Lilac Pâtisserie Granola

Instructions:
Grab a mason jar or stemless wine glass and start by placing a 1/3 of the yogurt in the jar. Then, start layering with your berries of choice and topping it with granola, and repeat until the jar is full, making sure to top it off with more granola, honey, and any other toppings you may like. The more homemade-looking, the better!

Granola Parfait using Chia Seed Pudding

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond/coconut/cow’s milk
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1/4 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup blackberries
  • Handful of Lilac Patisserie Granola

To make the chia seed pudding:

Place 1/3 cup of chia seeds, 1 cup of your choice of milk, and 1 tablespoon of honey in a mason jar and stir well. Leave in fridge for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

To make the parfait:

Grab a mason jar or stemless wine glass and start by placing a 1/3 of the chia seed pudding in the jar. Then, start layering with your berries of choice and topping it with granola, and repeat until the jar is full, making sure to top it off with more granola, honey, and any other toppings you may like.
